College and University Admissions Exams

Language testing: Each university makes its own decisions about who must send results of standardized tests assessing the student’s language skills, and about which tests they accept.

U.S. College Admissions Testing: Most, but not all, US universities require applicants to send scores for either the SAT or the ACT exams, exams intended to assess academic readiness for university. A small number of elite universities also require two or three SAT Subject Tests, more in-depth exams in a specific academic discipline.
